Mathematics is a subject that has a lot of concepts that must be mastered by the students, making students 'difficulties in remembering and understanding the concepts given by teachers adversely affects the students' mathematics learning outcomes. One way that can be done to overcome that by using a handout on the Peer Tutor Math Learning Outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning outcomes of students who use the Handout Peer tutoring is better than the mathematics learning outcomes that do not use the Handout Peer tutoring in class VII 4 Solok. The population in this study were students of class VII SMP Negeri 4 Kota Solok in the academic year 2015/2016 consisting of 6 classes. This research is a quasi-experimental. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling test after test of homogeneity of variance with Bartlett. Samples were selected as the experimental class is class VII C involves the use Handout and control class is class VII A and treatment, not using Handout on Peer Tutor. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using t-test. Based on the calculation, tcount = 7.6 and t (0.95: 48) = 1.676. At the 95% confidence level, meaning tcount>ttable then H0 and H1 accepted, in the sense of the mathematics learning outcomes of students who use Handout better than without using handouts in class VII SMP Negeri 4 Kota Solok.
