Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in mathematics learning outcomes through the application of pair check type cooperative learning in class VI students of SD Negeri 05 Koto Baru Simalanggang for the 2018/2019 academic year. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year for 4 months. The subjects of this study were 15 grade students of SDN 05 Koto Baru Simalanggang for the 2018/2019 academic year. The instruments used in the collection of this study were teacher activity observation sheets, student observation sheets, and tests. Based on the data analysis, the classical completeness percentage was 73% in the first cycle and 93% in the second cycle. From the results of the study it can be concluded that there has been an increase in Mathematics Learning Outcomes through the application of Pair Check Type Cooperative Learning in class VI students of SD Negeri 05 Koto Baru Simalanggang for the 2018/2019 academic year.
