The purpose of this study was to describe students' perceptions of mathematics at SD Negeri 04 Taeh in the 2019/2020 academic year. This type of research is descriptive research. Respondents in this study were students of SD Negeri 04 Taeh in the 2019/2020 academic year, totaling 30 people. The conclusions that can be drawn in the study are 1) students have a positive perception of mathematics subjects at SD Negeri 04 Taeh in the academic year 2019/2020 amounting to 33.33%; 2) students have negative perceptions of mathematics subjects at SD Negeri 04 Taeh for the 2019/2020 academic year of 66.67%; 3) the average student perception of the teacher in teaching mathematics was 65.33 with a negative perception category, 4) the average student perception of mathematics material was 57.14 with a negative category; 5) the average student's perception of the benefits of learning mathematics is 78.86 with a positive category
